Allied Health Services (AHS) will be a one-stop centre delivering therapies to restore and maintain the optimal status of the patients and their timely discharge. It will also support research by evaluating the effectiveness of Chinese medicine treatment for recovery.

Services available in the first year of operation:

• Dietetics Consultation
• Occupational therapy
• Physiotherapy
• Speech therapy
• Medical Social Worker

Services to be provided in phases:

• Audiology Assessments
• Clinical Psychological Services
• Optometry Assessments
• Podiatry Services
• Prosthetics and orthotics

AHS will adopt an integrated approach that enables the allied health professionals to work closely as a team to manage patients with complex needs. It will be strategically subdivided into functional modules rather than traditional departmental or disciplinary settings. Under this integrated approach, patients can receive a series of assessments and therapeutic modalities across different functional modules during a consultation session.

Patients can receive AHS by in-house referral through appointment.
